The writings that weave memory

The Artistic creation is built  on real and imaginary encounters, with  works of art and sensibilities crossing themes and chronologies. The dialogues that arise from these associations are the basis of artistic creation.

This exhibition “Writings that weave memories”, by the artists Dea Homsi, Elisa Wuo, Telma Wajskop, celebrates the meeting of different sensibilities that plastically investigate the boundaries between writing and painting.

The artists, in regards to their relationship to writing, brings another perception that goes beyond understanding the text. The time retained in the writings, aging of the pages of books, stains, erasures,  design of the letters, the  void that exists between the graphic gesture and the entire visual field make us see the emptiness between the letters,  and the emptiness that surrounds the words. They create room for an imaginary world where we are imprisoned, enchanted and from there, fascinated and sensitized allowing us to see the real in a different way.

I believe that this experience that artists offer us makes us better, more human.
