She has been exploring more intimate paintings on a smaller scale, on canvas and paper. The painting is made by superimposing layers of the various procedures that took place during the act of painting. The nature of his work lies in the creative process itself and in the dialogue between the image and the reflection.
As an immigrant, for many years she had to overcome the challenges of adapting to his family, language and culture. His work reflects these challenges and erasures to which she was subjected.
